We are a group of Dancing Chefs committed to helping the Salsa Lela Charity so that  we may all live and heal harmoniously on this ever changing planet.

Lela was created after the catastrophe that hit Haiti en 2010. Her goal is to collect donations from guest who visit Salsa and Salsa and guest who visit this site to help make a difference around the globe. Lela has raised more than $12,000 and has donated to over 10 different causes around the world.

Who Said Pigs Can't Fly

Yes They Can Do It!

Like so many of you, I have been working my little hooves off with a variety of amazing causes and charities these past couple of years. Every time I do something for others my heart grows bigger and bigger full of compassion. 2012 is coming up and I felt like I wanted to do something even BIGGER this year!. The first words that came to mind were: Lead, Encourage, Live and Act.

And so was the birth of my New Years Resolution. Leadership in my opinion is one of the greatest characteristics one can hold. Having leadership supports the idea of encouraging others to make a difference, living a life filled with compassion and acting on our instincts to donate to the difficult situations that occur around the world.

An umbrella stands for security, shelter and safety, and for that reason I hold my pink umbrella high over the world.

Mahatma Gandhi once said," You must become the change you want to see in the world." Or the late Steve Jobs, who said, "Innovation, distinguishes between a leader and a follower."

And even though I am just one beautiful pig, I believe that the smallest of all acts can truly make difference in the world.

"My girlfriend and I attended Salsa & Salsa in April 2010 and it was one of the BEST times I've ever had. I can't remember having so much fun! These ladies were INCREDIBLE and I'd highly recommend the experience. It made Mazatlan my favorite stop on the entire trip. Thanks so much for the memories!!!"
